POLL: Do you let your children play with toy guns?

Playing heroes and villains is a staple part of growing up for most children, play fighting with guns and swords, pretending to be goodies and baddies - even Prince George enjoys it.

But this role play could be dying out, as a recent study found almost 80% of nurseries have banned 'replica weapons'. But should parents ban children from playing with guns? Mum of two Dipti says it's bad for their mental health, whereas Sue Leaner insists we shouldn't control children's imaginations: 'It's like saying dolls cause pregnancies!'
