Do you think electric pet collars are cruel?

Are they a cruel way to control your pet or simply an effective means of keeping them safe? There has been a heated debate surrounding the use of electric collars to control cats and dogs, but Environment Secretary Michael Gove has recently suggested he won’t impose a total ban on them, causing outrage amongst dog trainers and animal charities.

Joining us today are Jamie Penrith, who says electric dog collars can be effective if used in the right way, and Eryn Martyn-Godfrey, who believes they are barbaric devices.
