Rugby star Jonny Wilkinson: 'My battle with depression and anxiety'
Yesterday we unveiled our 84 sculptures on top of ITV's buildings to commemorate the 84 men a week who take their own lives in Britain.
Former England rugby star Jonny Wilkinson can relate to men’s mental health - during the peak of his career he battled severe anxiety referring to himself as ‘a shivering wreck’ in the dressing rooms before each important game. Whilst his teammates waited for him on the pitch, he shut himself in the bathroom - too consumed with nerves.
Jonny's struggles have inspired him to set up his own foundation. He joins us on the sofa as he supports our campaign, encouraging others to speak out about mental health.
