'I felt like I was naked on stage!'
It's every boy's dream to be James Bond ... in my wildest dreams!
During an interview on today's show, Ronan Keating revealed how he felt on the opening night of his West End musical debut. Ronan - who plays the lead role in Once - said, “lt was frightening, really intimidating and I’ve never done anything like that before… it’s very different [from concerts] - you feel very exposed. I’ve loved every minute of it, but wow, it’s been full on.”
He added, “I felt like I was naked on stage!”
Based on an Oscar-winning film, the show is based on the chance meeting between an Irish hoover engineer and a quirky girl from Eastern Europe who form a strong bond with folk music at its very heart.
When quizzed about papers reports that he is up for the James Bond role, Ronan laughed and said, “No I’m not, no way! I wish in my wildest dreams… it’s every boys dream to be James Bond, absolutely, I’m a big fan… but my God, no.”
On other rumours, particularly those that he is about to get wed to girlfriend Storm, Ronan admitted, “Of course we’d love to, yes… there'll be no secret, we haven’t planned anything yet - we’d have to tell our families first!”
Ronan has also been parodied by many a famous face - but will be be able to guess who by in our game Who's The Phoney Ronan?
