Research finds third of workers would quit job if remote working removed
Data collected by LinkedIn has revealed more than a third (34%) of workers would quit their job if the option to work from home (WFH) was removed.
Three in 10 (31%) UK companies are planning to send their employees who are currently working from home back to the office, due to ‘productivity paranoia’, according to the data.
Working from home became the norm for employees during the Coronavirus pandemic and since restrictions have been lifted, flexible working hours have been offered by many employers.
The figures have revealed that it is the older generation that are more keen to continue hybrid working with (30%) workers aged 55 preferring WFH compared to just a quarter (25%) of Gen Z.
