Italian Wines
Prosecco rose 75Cl £8, Tesco Finest A fantastic value sparkling rose made in the same way as champagne made exclusively for Tesco by Hush Heath in Kent. It’s a great fruity party starter.
Freixenet Pinot Grigio 75cl £9, Sainsbury's & TescoA great place to start if you haven’t tried English wine before, this is a really drinkable white made from a blend of grapes.
Priuli Pinot Grigio Blush - Case of 6£48, M&SAnother great way to enjoy a taste of England in pink form. Made pink by the Pinot Noir grape in the blend (the colour comes from the skins), this is super quaffable.
Rocca Guicciarda Chianti Classico Riserva£15, Sainsbury'sAn English red. Really juicy, moreish and full of raspberry fruit flavours. Reminiscent of Beaujolais (the really good ones)!
English Wines
Tesco Finest English Sparkling Rosé£21, Tesco They hand harvest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes to make a beautifully pale coral coloured wine, with wild strawberry and citrus flavours, balanced with a vibrant acidity.
Morrisons The Best English White£10, Morrisons Elderflower and green apple aromas with crisp apple and grapefruit flavours.
Specially Selected English Rosé£8.99, Aldi Bursting with fresh tropical fruit aromas on the nose, this pale pink English rosé is rich on the palate. It has a hint of sweetness balanced with crisp acidity, and a wonderfully long, dry finish.
