We are all obsessed with our skincare routines, but sometimes forget that our haircare routines are just as important if we want healthy and shiny locks.
From a must-have hair mask to the perfect hair towel, our beauty editor Vicki Laycock shares the haircare products your hair will thank you for.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Wonder Water£9.99, Look Fantastic
The newest hair launch by L'Oreal has caused quite a stir and I can see why. If you are sick of thick, greasy conditioners that don’t wash out and leave your hair limp then this is the product for you. The water-like consistency washes out after eight seconds so you no longer have to wait 10 minutes for your conditioner to work its magic - suitable for all hair types.
Silke London Hair Wrap£40 was £50, Feel Unique
This silk hair wrap has been a game changer for me and my hair. I have naturally curly hair which can often look frizzy and flat after sleeping. I wear the silk wrap at night and the next day my curls are glossy and frizz-free. I also wear it after straightening my hair and my hair is even shinier than when I went to bed - a must-have. Made from 100% pure mulberry silk. One size, perfect for all hair types.
Aquis Hair Turban£30, Look Fantastic
We’ve all been drying our hair for years with a normal bathroom towel - so why is there any need for a special towel turban, you might ask. Well, same as Silke's Hair Wrap, this has changed my hair game. The turban minimises drying time without damaging my hair and makes blowdrying super quick. I would never go back to a normal towel again! Perfect for all hair types, the towel wraps easily around wet hair and fastens with a single button closure.
Josh Wood Colour Everything Mask£19, Boots
Lockdown is the perfect time for a hair mask and this is one of my favourites. Last year my hair was damaged from too much colour and heat and I started using this at least once a week. I massage it into my hair and tie it up and leave it until I wash it. My hair is in much better condition since using it (even my hairdresser agrees) and the bottle lasts ages.
Revamp Progloss Perfect Finish Big Volume and Wave Hot Hair Styling Brush£59.99, Boots
Straighteners, hairdryers and curling tongs can be expensive - often well over £100. Revamp is a great brand with so many fantastic tools starting from £34.99. My favourite is the Big Volume and Wave Hot Hair Styling Brush, which creates perfectly smooth curls, waves and volume and the best bit is the retractable brush means there's no need to worry about getting your hair caught.
Hershesons Almost Everything Cream£10, Hershesons
If you are sick of having tons of hair products then this is the cream for you. Just like its name says, it does almost everything: primer, shine booster, frizz fighter, texturiser, tamer, curl definer, conditioner and mask. It’s a fantastic product that smells great - at an unbeatable price.
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo£14.75 was £21.11, Feel Unique
This is a great moisturizing shampoo for hair that has been coloured. It creates a satisfying lather even though it's sulfate free and vegan. Hair looks and smells great after use.
DIZZIAK Deep Conditioner£22, Selfridges
This deep conditioner is a cult product and for good reason. It works with all hair types and textures (particularly Afro hair) without relying on harsh chemicals. Enriched with coconut and argan oils it is nourishing and leaves you with shiny, tangle-free hair. Perfect for this chilly time of year.
Slip Silk Hair Scrunchies Set£39, Cult Beauty
Upgrade your hair-tie game with these cute silk bobbles, gentle on your hair, avoids creases and breakage. 100% pure silk.
