Reviving an iconic TV series - particularly one that pulled in viewers in their millions during its heyday - is a risky endeavour. So two years ago when the BBC decided to bring back Open All Hours, the much-loved corner shop sitcom starring Ronnie Barker and David Jason, fans were rightly sceptical!
However, when it attracted 12.2 million viewers and became the most-watched comedy programme of the year, the BBC went on to make an entire series, which has now been released on DVD.
Nina Wadia, who plays village gossip Mrs Hussein is here today to tell us why she loves being part of the show, and to give us a look ahead to her mind-reading performance on this Sunday's Get Your Act Together.
