Harman moves from Walford to Downton
It was a shocking storyline, and a bold storyline, and something that when I was sent the script and I read it was amazed by it, and excited by it ... for a show like Downton it leaps out as a bold and risky idea
Last night ex-EastEnders star Nigel Harman made his shocking debut as Mr Green, Lord Anthony Gillingham's valet in Emmy Award winning drama Downton Abbey. He's is also currently on our TVs in comedy drama Mount Pleasant, but it seems that the small screen is not big enough for Harman as next year he makes his directing debut in the UK tour of Shrek: The Musical - and at the same time is set to play TV's Mr Nasty Simon Cowell in the X Factor-inspired musical I Can't Sing.
Now Nigel reveals the drama that's hitting Downton, why you really must pronounce the t in valet, and how on earth he's going to find time for all his stage and screen work!
