My Last Summer

Family time is more important than anything

Andy Priest

Channel 4 documentary My Last Summer takes five people, aged 38 - 58, all of whom have been given a terminal diagnosis, and brings them together for regular weekends at a Cotswold manor house as they contemplate the last months of their lives.

They talk, laugh and cry as they share their experiences of living and dying.

Forty-eight-year-old Andy Priest discovered just a few months after his leukaemia diagnosis seven years ago, that he had caught an untreatable bacteria infection that is destroying his lungs.

Andy and his wife Annette join us this morning to talk about being part of the show, living with an incurable disease and the toll it takes on loved ones.
