Meet the 'miracle' conjoined twins
Forget one in a million, twins Annabelle and Isabelle Bateson are one in 2.5 million. Born safely in March, the conjoined twins are now 8 weeks old and are doing well.
Although they share a bladder and a fused leg, they each have their own hearts, meaning doctors at Great Ormond Street are hopeful that their planned separation will be a success.
The Bateson family joined us from their home in Northern Ireland, to share their hopes and fears for the months ahead.
