We plant a This Morning tree in Buckingham Palace Gardens

Eamonn Holmes is joined by the Countess of Wessex live from the Palace as HRH plants the first This Morning tree in the country’s most famous garden.

Last week we gave away 25,000 trees ahead of ITV's documentary featuring Sir David Attenborough and The Queen, and today Eamonn chats to the Countess to find out why trees are so important to the Royal Family.

HRH admits she used the garden to run around to keep fit. “I’ve run around the parks, trying to get fit. When [the children] were little, we have come up here during school holidays and… the children have enjoyed the sandpit and running around the gardens too.”
