'My experience of hormone blockers'

It has been revealed this week that one NHS trust may give hormone blockers to children as young as nine who suffer from gender dysphoria in order to potentially prepare them for a sex change.

13-year-old Leo Waddell, who first appeared on This Morning last summer, took part in this trial and has been taking hormone blockers since October. Born a girl and originally named Lily, he has been certain he wanted to be a boy from the age of five. He is here today with mum Hayley and transgender expert Christella Antoni to talk about his experiences.
