Jesy Nelson says lockdown's been 'horrible' without her Little Mix bandmates

Jesy Nelson really missed her Little Mix bandmates in lockdown and said she's hoping their new single, Holiday, will lift the nation's spirits.

Speaking to Dermot and Rochelle on This Morning, she explained how difficult it had been to be separated from Jade Thirwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards.

"It's horrible, we're like family now, so to not be with them for this long has been horrible but I have seen them and it was amazing, because they're like my sisters," Jesy said.

"In the same aspect, it was quite nice to have our own space and time, because we never get time to just chill and just do nothing, so that was quite nice."

Little Mix, who are set to join forces for an exclusive Meerkat Music 'UNCancelled!' digital performance after their planned UK summer tour was cancelled, first found fame on the X Factor back in 2011 and will celebrate a decade as band in 2021.

'I remember it all very vividly, but for me it doesn't feel like 10 years, it feels like it has been half of that," Jesy said. "It’s just flown by and I literally just feel like I’ve had the best time ever. Mainly because I’ve been with my best friends."
