'I’ve changed my gender three times… but i’m finally happy'

Samantha Kane is the only person in the UK — possibly the world — believed to have changed gender three times. The barrister and property tycoon, born Sam Hashimi, transitioned from male to female in 1997 and back again in 2004, before her final gender change to a woman in 2018.

Now, after purchasing her own castle in Scotland, Samantha wants to be known as a ‘Lady of the House’. She joins us in the studio today to tell us what her new life as ‘Lady’ will entail, and why she’s finally comfortable in her own skin.
