I was attacked by a shark, but I still want to be a marine biologist

Shane McConnell was just 12 years old and on holiday in the Bahamas when he was attacked by a bull shark. He was only saved because he was wearing shoes, and he didn't realise the severity of his injury until he was taken to hospital to have 53 stitches.

Despite the attack, Shane hasn't stopped pursuing his dream to become a marine biologist. We join Shane and his mum live from the Sea Life Centre to hear his story, and watch him overcome the attack by swimming with sharks.
