'I want to focus on the future', Vanessa Feltz speaks out on break-up
Vanessa Feltz admitted she felt 'sad', 'hurt' and 'terribly humiliated' following the split from her partner of 16 years.
Speaking to Phillip and Holly on This Morning, she said: 'I'm in the eye of the storm at the moment, I haven't got to the bit when you look back at it.'
Vanessa shared a video on Sunday morning confirming the break-up, saying the trust had been broken in her relationship.
Discussing the public reaction, Vanessa said: 'I suppose my relationship was always fascinating to people, they couldn't work out... He was younger, I was older and we were different.
I don't really mind that people know now they know but I was wishing they wouldn't find out for a long while longer I suppose.'
Asked if anything has helped, Vanessa said: 'I think it helps when people say you shouldn't feel foolish for having faith in your own partner.'
Vanessa is now focusing on moving forward and said: 'I think the best thing is to gather all the love, and all the people that you love, and all the things that you love, and all the places that you love, and spend time having a good time.'
