We’ve had our fair share of pampered pets on This Morning, but Laura Schakosky from Texas takes it to a whole other level.

Laura takes Jewel, her beloved Yorkshire terrier, for monthly trips to the salon to have her fur dyed bright pink. Furthermore Laura spends around $4000 per year to ensure Jewel has everything she could ever wish for, including cute outfits, accessories, a dog nanny and her own buggy.

Laura admits that a few people have questioned her decision, but insists it’s not bad for Jewel’s health. Laura and Jewel join us live from Dallas.
