How to make your own Christmas wreath
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to get ready for the festive season. And taking inspiration from Holly’s picture-perfect front door - renowned florist, Ronny Colbie will be here to help you make your own seasonal wreath. You’ll be the envy of your neighbourhood in no time!
Canadian-born florist Ronny Colbie started his floristry career at the age of 17, working as an events florist for a leading design studio in Downtown Toronto. After moving to the UK in 2012, he became the Lead Floral Designer for the Soho House Group and started his own brand - called Ronny Colbie - in 2018. Ronny opened his first boutique in Balham, London in 2020.
Wreath masterclass:
Step 1: Make a frame for your wreath
Start by buying or building a wire frame for your mothing.
Wrap the mothing around your frame until you have a complete base.
Step 2: Dressing your frame with foliage
Attach each piece of foliage to your mothing one by one.
Wrap wire around each layer of foliage until you have a complete wreath.
Step 3: Decorating your wreath
Attach wire to each decoration before putting it on your wreath.
You can also attach some decorations with a glue gun.
And - don’t forget a nice big bow!
