Dying for a tan
I'm pretty happy with myself at the minute but without them I wouldn't be.
Ryan Ruckledge says he'd rather die than be pale, so for the past five years he has been injecting himself daily with an illegal tanning drug, spending a whopping £25,000 maintaining his tan.
Ryan's now calling on the NHS to fund research into the safety of the Melanotan injections, because he's experiencing serious side effects that may eventually kill him. But until a link is proven between the injections and his symptoms, Ryan insists on continuing to use it.
Ryan joins us today to tell us about his addiction to tanning and call for help from the government and NHS. He said: "If I look in the mirror and I look pale I feel I look bad."
On whether these injections should be on the NHS he added: "I've got myself into thousand of pounds worth of debt for this and they should help with it."
