Discipline in the classroom
The story of a teacher convicted of assaulting a pupil after he refused to stop using his mobile phone in class has divided the nation's opinion over school discipline. Regina Hungerford, who admitted throwing the phone out of the window but denied hitting the 17-year-old boy with a book, was found guilty by a court in Wales, and has now vowed to appeal to save her career.
