How to care for roses
When growing roses choose a site which will get at least six hours of sun each day.
Rose bushes must be located in well-drained, fertile soil.
Roses require at least an inch of water weekly - do not over-water as they are very susceptible to fungal diseases, such as black spot and powdery mildew, especially when their foliage is kept too wet.
Feeding roses with fertiliser is important to give them all the nutrients they need.
