He’s one of the most notorious criminals in history. But last week, an Austrian court approved the transfer of Josef Fritzl from a special security unit to a regular jail - 15 years since his horrific crimes were uncovered.
The court came to the conclusion that 88-year-old Fritzl is ‘no longer dangerous’, based on the finding of a new psychiatric report - and on the grounds of his old age and onset of dementia.
