Yesterday, as Coronation Street's Hayley Cropper took her own life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, the controversial storyline once again sparked a nationwide debate over assisted suicide.
According to a poll for the Sun newspaper three-quarters of Brits support a change in the law that would allow terminally ill patients to end their suffering.
Today Sheila King joins us to explain why she backs assisted suicide after her husband Steve took his own life in 2012 after ten years of living with Multiple Sclerosis.
