Comedian Alan Carr: 'Adele planned my wedding'

She planned it all ... it was the best day of my life!

Our favourite bespectacled comedian Alan Carr has revealed that singer and close friend Adele planned and organised his wedding to longtime partner Paul Drayton.

The funnyman, who is hosting new Channel 4 gameshow I Don't Like Mondays, told Emma Willis and Rylan that not only did the Hello singer make all the arrangements for their special day, she married the pair in the back garden of her LA pad.

"She said, 'I want to do your special day, let me do everything','' Alan explained. ''She did everything. She even got ordained and married us!''

He continued: ''She's the kindest, most sweetest and loveliest person ever.''

As well as performing their first dance song, Alan and Paul were treated to an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion in concert.

Now that's one wedding gift the happy couple won't forget!
