We reunite Chris Tarrant with paramedics who saved him
It's you! How nice to see you… and thank you. Thank you. What a top chap.
Last year, Chris Tarrant embarked on a project very different from the quiz and radio shows that brought him fame.
Delving into his father's past, he uncovered the World War II stories behind his father's military cross, writing a book detailing his dad's heroic efforts. With a new paperback edition out this month, Chris joins us to talk about Dad's War, as well as discussing the stroke he suffered last March.
With the senior paramedic and ambulance crew who saved him live in the studio, Chris finally gets the chance to thank the three men and women who saved his life.
BOOK: Dad's War: Father, Soldier, Hero was released in paperback on 1 May
