Elizabeth and Victoria - our longest-reigning monarchs
All morning we have been celebrating the Queen's record-breaking reign as our longest serving Monarch. But what about the woman who held the title before her - her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria. Victoria, who reigned for 63 years and seven months, came to the throne aged 18 until she died in 1901. But how do the royal reigns of the two Queens compare?
Joining us to discuss the legacy of the two monarchs are royal historian Dr Anna Whitelock and royal biographer Sarah Gristwood. Camilla Tominey is live by the River Thames to keep us updated on the movements of the flotilla which will be sailing past the studios.
