Gok's prawn ramen bowl

It's exactly that, the ultimate speedy bowl of deliciousness - Gok's prawn ramen bowl can be made in 10 minutes flat for the ultimate lunchtime fix. 

Ramen in a rush

Serves 2

Ingredients

4 giant king prawns, heads removed, peeled, deveined, and butterflied.

Salt and pepper

2 vegetable or chicken stock gel pots

700ml boiling

3 garlic cloves, minced

4 tbsp light soy

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1cm ginger, grated

1 tsp five spice

1 pinch of Japanese chili powder

1 tsp sugar

2 packets of cooked ramen noodles

2 tsp sesame oil

Baby spinach, soft boiled eggs, spring onions, sesame seeds, dried nori


Method

1. Toss the prawns in oil, season with salt and pepper, and griddle the king prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

2. Add the stock and garlic, soy, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, five-spice, chili powder, and sugar into a saucepan and boil for 1 minute.

3. Add the noodles.

4. Ladle into bowls, top with the griddled prawns, spinach, boiled eggs, spring onions, sesame seeds, and dried nori- enjoy!
