Emmerdale's our soap of the day

I find it really hard to get it right, and hope that somebody else will come up with something for me!

With weddings, fires, murders and a siege at the Woolpack it's been quite the dramatic year in the Dales. And, now, with 12 nominations at this Saturday's Soap Awards the cast of Emmerdale are hoping that it will be its most successful ever year.

Today, stars Charley Webb, Laura Norton, Jason Merrells, Emma Atkins, and Anthony Quinlan tell us why they think the programme deserves to win the prestigious Best Soap award this weekend.
