Ben Cohen: From scrum to Strictly... to big screen!
There's only one reason I'm the second-highest try scorer of England of all time, is the fact that I never heard anybody to pass the ball to!
Now as famous for his private life as his rugby career, former England star Ben Cohen speaks exclusively to us about the release of his new autobiography Carry Me Home.
The book charts his rise to the top of his sport, his father’s tragic death and his clinical deafness.
Ben told us about playing in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final, and revealed, "I still haven't watched the whole game - I was with Lawrence Dallaglio the other night and we watched highlights, and I said 'have you watched the game', and he said 'no, I haven't watched it' - you don't!"
Speaking about his hearing loss and tinnitus, Ben said, "There's only one reason I'm the second-highest try scorer of England of all time, is the fact that I never heard anybody to pass the ball to!"
So will Ben be supporting his former Strictly partner Kristina Rihanoff this year? "I'm sure I'll pop down at some point - I don't think I'd like hearing that Strictly music, it'd send me all nervous!"
