What's the best way to wear a jumper with a skirt?
There are two ways you can best wear a jumper with a skirt. If your skirt is pleated, go for a slimline knit in order to best flatter your shape. The pleats will offer movement and volume, so keep the top low-key and form-fitting.
On the other hand, if you're wearing a slip skirt, I'd recommend wearing a thick-knit jumper over the top, without tucking it in. This provides great coverage if you're worried about a bit of stomach bulk and will give you a confidence boost: a great chuck-on-and-go outfit.
What dress style best suits an apple shape?
I've been dressing women of all shapes and sizes for over 11 years now and can safely say that if you're an 'apple' shape, the wrap dress is your best friend. In fact, the wrap dress has been every woman's best friend since its creation in the 30s! Any detail which brings you in at the waist will perfectly balance out your body: ruching or panelling is an added bonus. Ruth wears the wrap dress SO well. Head over to Ruth's Instagram to see her Outfit of the Day videos.
If you're worried about the faff of a tie-wrap dress, fear not! There are many brands now who create pull-on dresses with the wrap illusion.
My favourite brands for wrap dresses are Dancing Leopard, Liquorice and Pretty Dress Company.
Amber, what's your favourite outfit in your wardrobe?
Ooh, I love this question and it's super simple for me to answer! I love my Daily Sleeper set that I wore on the show a few weeks ago. It's a rented piece that I ended up buying as I fell in love with it. I am so glad I rented it beforehand, as it really is an investment piece, and now I know that I adore it and will be wearing it all Christmas.
If Sleeper is out of your budget, River Island and Kitri have some great alternatives!

I want to buy my daughter a special piece of jewellery this Christmas that won't break the bank. Where shall I go?
This is a lovely idea! My favourite place to buy jewellery gifts are Pandora and Mejuri. At Pandora, I would buy a charm bracelet, and then ask other members of the family to buy charms! This also means that future Christmas/birthdays are easy, as you can buy great charms to commemorate events! Bracelets start at £45, and charms from £15. When building a bracelet, start with a bold charm so it looks statement from the get go! I love the pink charm below.
If you like the look of Mejuri, or perhaps your daughter is more minimalistic, go for a dainty gold chain. Your daughter will love it! I wear a gold chain every day, and it can really change how I feel about an outfit. I love this one below, the small sapphire really makes this necklace feel luxurious without the price tag.
Pandora Me Snake Chain Bracelet, £45
Pandora Wavy Fancy Pink Murano Glass Charm, £20
Mejuir Lariat Slide Necklace, £75
Do any body shapers come with gusset poppers so you don’t have to undress to go to the bathroom?
Yes they do, and they're a brilliant creation! I have a bodysuit from Heist, and I can't recommend it enough. It just makes you feel more 'put together' and fastens like a bra strap, so is super easy for putting on (and taking off!). It is an investment piece, but you won't regret purchasing and will want to wear it every day!
Remember when buying shapewear to buy true to size, or even the size down in order to really suck you in!
