Back to Basics: Bolognese and chilli

Ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped500g mince50ml water2 x 10g beef stock cubes1 tin chopped tomatoes in juice1 pinch oreganoTo turn the base into a chilli:1 pinch dried chilli flakesTin of kidney beans
Method
Place the onion and mince into a dry pan and pour over a little water. Place the pan on the heat and bring to the boil. After 10-15 minutes the liquid will have evaporated. Add the stock and the chopped tomatoes in juice, a pinch of oregano and a little more water.
Reduce the mince down until you have a sauce consistency season with salt and pepper. Now you have your basic Bolognese.
To take this onto a chilli stir through a pinch of dried chilli flakes and the drained red kidney beans cook for a further five minutes over a medium heat
