Attacked for calling a man Harry Potter

When Leah Pearce, 16, and Emma Keeble, 15, poked fun at 19-year-old Ryan Walker by calling him Harry Potter, they could never have imagined the horror that would ensue.

Walker snapped and attacked one of them with a knife and the other with his bare fists, leaving them both hospitalised and frightened for their lives. Now serving a four-and-a-half year jail term, Ryan Walker has expressed remorse for his actions. But that comes as little comfort to Leah, Emma and their respective fathers Jason and Allen, all of whom join us today to tell their story.
