Amanda Redman visits Nepal, six months on
It’s heartbreaking… we take so much for granted, and you feel powerless when you’re there. It’s very difficult.
This Sunday marks six months since the Nepal earthquake, which devastated the country back in April 2015. The earthquake, and the aftershocks that followed, were the deadliest earthquake to ever hit Nepal, killing 9,000 people and injuring more than 20,000.
The work to rebuild the country following this disaster still continues, and we followed actress Amanda Redman, who is an ambassador for the charity World Vision, on her visit to some of the worst hit areas and to meet some of the people affected.
