A UK TV first: Corgi Jack has pet acupuncture LIVE

You’ve probably heard of acupuncture for humans, but the ancient Chinese therapy is growing in popularity among pet owners. As a holistic supplement to traditional veterinary care, owners are turning to the treatment as a means of curing their sickly pets of aches, pains and other ailments.

Joining us in the studio today is qualified vet of 14 years Emma Buckland, who has been practising acupuncture since 2008. In a This Morning first, she will perform acupuncture on Jack - an elderly corgi who has cancer of the lungs - to show us how the treatment works and talks us through its benefits for animals.
