Team Olly’s Talented 10!

He was the last Coach to fill up his Team, but as the reigning champion of The Voice UK Olly Murs wants to hold onto that trophy! Luckily he’s bagged himself a powerhouse line-up of talented vocalists to take through to The Battles. Let’s remind ourselves of Olly’s 10 Acts…

Team Olly got off to a show-stopping start when Cameo Williams wowed him with her unique cover of Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’.

Next up, Mr Murs beat off strong competition from Tom to convince 18-year-old Ty Lewis that he was the Coach to take him through after his gorgeous performance of Billie Eilish’s ‘When The Party’s Over’.

Things got wild when Alan Chan took to the stage, and his head-banging rock cover of Chris Cornell's 'You Know My Name' left Olly leaping onto the stage to give the man his dues - and the next spot on Team Murs.

Next up, Olly secured himself some retro glam in the form of trio Belle Noir. Their super-tight harmonies wowed the Coaches as they performed a beautiful arrangement of Portugal The Man’s ‘Feel It Still’.

And the dreamy vocals continued when Cat Cavelli’s stunning performance of ‘I Put A Spell On You’ by Nina Simone lived up to its name and left Mr Murs mesmerised.

A beautiful ballad was next to tempt Olly to turn, and the luck of the Irish was with Brian Corbett for his silky smooth performance of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Give Me Love’.

Olly added some gospel jazz flavour when student Blessing Chitapa’s gorgeous version of Etta James’ ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ wowed the crowd and left Olly with no choice but to hit that button!

The soulful singers kept coming as Bleu Woodward left Olly shook with her performance of ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ by AC/DC. The stakes hit next level when Beryl McCormack walked onto the stage and performed a stunning rendition of Adele’s ‘Turning Tables’. After earning herself a four-chair turn and some serious pitches, she declared a delighted Olly the man for her!

With only one spot left, Olly held his nerve and waited for the very last singer of the Blind Auditions, and his risky move was rewarded as Millie Bowell hit some serious notes with her powerful performance of Sia’s 'Titanium', completing Olly’s line-up and making him one very happy man!

The Battles commence as The Voice UK continues on Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV and STV.
