Take a look at Team Tom!

The Blind Auditions have been a delicious whirlwind of incredible voices, but the Coaches’ Teams are now full and we’re heading for The Battles!

Sir Tom Jones, legend in his own right, saves his red button for the very best. From gospel notes to beautiful ballads, let’s take a look at the 10 talented Acts that make up Team Tom.

Olly’s pal Lara George was the first Act to choose Team Tom after she wowed the Coaches with her take on Jess Glynne’s ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’. The next Act to join from the first Blind Auditions was SheZar, who also has a famous connection as Labrinth’s sister! Her powerful version of Aretha Franklin’s ‘Pride (A Deeper Love)’ was right up Tom’s street.

At the second Blind Auditions Lara Anstead impressed our Welsh icon with her performance of Jessie Ware’s ‘Say You Love Me’, and an emotional end to the show gave 26-year-old Zion the chair turn he was hoping for with his version of ‘Glory’ by John Legend and Common.

Sean Connolly did his adorable family proud and his take on the Billy Ocean classic ‘Suddenly’ secured him a spot in Team Tom.

The competition was well and truly on when Elly O’Keeffe mesmerised the studio with her stunning acoustic performance of Leon Bridges’ ‘River’. She made our Tom one VERY chuffed Coach when she picked him after an intense set of pitches!

Tom’s winning streak continued as he beat off strong competition from Will and Olly to secure 21-year-old Lois Moodie. We’ve still got goosebumps watching her flawless cover of Beyoncé’s ‘I Was Here’.

Tom saved his best smile for last for last in episode 5, when Jonny Brooks melted us all with his sweet sweet rendition of Van Morrison’s ‘Sweet Thing’.

There was more vocal gorgeousness from Vivienne Isebor as she performed a pitch-perfect cover of Sza’s ‘The Weekend’ - although we had our hearts in our mouths when she thought that none of the Coaches had turned and started to exit the stage, not knowing that Sir Tom was waiting for her!

With just one more space left, it was Shaun Samonini that Tom won over with his emotional performance of Brett Young’s ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’, which he dedicated to his wife and son.

A strong line-up for Team Tom, but only five of his Acts will progress through to the Knockouts. Let The Battles commence...

The Voice UK continues on Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV and STV.
