A raw, gravelly tone always has us hitting our imaginary buttons, and Jake O’Neill delivered with his performance of ‘I Want Love’ by Elton John. He was left beaming when Sir Tom turned on the last note, giving the 23-year-old his ticket to the Battles.
Jake stepped onto the stage to take on Wura in the Battles for Team Tom. They delivered a delicious version of Marvin Gaye’s ‘What’s Going On’.
Jake returned to The Voice UK stage for the Semi-Finals, and we revelled in that smooth sound once again, this time with a delicious version of ‘This Year’s Love’ by David Gray. His raw tone left us feeling totally emotional!
