Supercomputer is coming to Cardiff!
The Supercomputer is coming to Cardiff!
On Sunday 22nd March 2015 the Supercomputer will be at the Queens Arcade from 9am for the morning session and 2pm for the afternoon session.
Come dressed to impress with your hidden talent and you might get the chance to wow the Supercomputer and maybe win two tickets to New York!
Email SNT@ITV.COM for more details.
Please note, you must be 18 years old or over to take part.
The location of the Supercomputer is QUEENS ARCADE, QUEEN STREET, CARDIFF, CF10 2BY
The date of filming is 22nd March 2015.
You must be aged 18 years old or over to be considered for this game.
The day will be split into two separate sessions, a morning and an afternoon session. Interested attendees can attend one or the other of these sessions.
We will be at QUEENS ARCADE SHOPPING CENTRE from 9AM for the morning session and from 2PM for the afternoon session (these times may subject to reasonable change depending on set up time).
Attendees will go through an initial selection phase where they will need to show their hidden talents to a programme producer first. The producer will then decide at his/her sole discretion as to which candidates will be put forward to perform in front of the Supercomputer. The producer’s decision as to who does and doesn’t go through to face the Supercomputer is final and there will be no right of appeal against this.
Those candidates who are selected by us to perform in front of the Supercomputer will be allocated a number and once the candidate’s number is called, they will be invited to perform in front of the Supercomputer but candidateswon't have long to impress Supercomputer so they will need to make sure they get to the best bit of their performance straight away,
Once a participant has finished their performance in front of the Supercomputer, they will be either be given a “Sorry Lolly” or a “Golden Token”. Unfortunately those who receive a Sorry Lolly will no longer be in contention to win the prize.
Those who do receive a “Golden Token” will be invited back later on during the same day to see if they are lucky enough to be chosen to win a prize. Those who attend the 9:00am session will be invited back for 1:00pm and those who attend the 2:00pm session will be invited back for 3:30pm. The Supercomputer will then let each “Golden Token” holder know whether or not they are a winner of the prize.
Due to unknown numbers of attendees wishing to take part on the day we cannot guarantee that everyone attending will be seen by us and unfortunately not everyone will get the opportunity to perform in front of Supercomputer.
Filming will finish at 1.30PM for the morning session and 3.30PM for the afternoon session (although this may subject to reasonable change) irrespective of whether there are participants waiting to be seen by us and/or the Supercomputer.
The Supercomputer team will try to enable as many people as possible to participate with the Supercomputer. However, as the Supercomputer is a filmed event, there will be some delays caused by filming and crew breaks, which are necessary components of the day.
The length of time that those participants who have been selected to face the Supercomputer can interact with the Supercomputer is determined by the producer and will vary between participants. Interaction can last from as little
as 20 seconds to as long as 20 minutes. At all times Supercomputer and the team reserve the right to make any changes to the running of the day as they deem necessary in their sole discretion.
Please note we will NOT be able to play any personal backing tracks or specific performance music. If you are singing you will need to sing acapella. Supercomputer will, where we deem appropriate, play music for you to perform to (with such music to be selected by the production team at its sole discretion).
Those who are selected to face the Supercomputer on the day will be subject to further terms and conditions, which will be made available to upon registration.
