Live Six Nations: Watch Ireland v Wales on ITV
ITV kicks off its first ever RBS 6 Nations campaign with live coverage of a Celtic heavyweight clash in Dublin.
Warren Gatland's Welsh side are again plagued by injury problems: Leigh Halfpenny, Scott Williams and Rhys Webb are all out. But they still look very strong, and this tournament is another opportunity for world-class fly-half Dan Biggar to enhance his reputation, while marauding skipper Sam Warburton will lead from the front as usual.
Ireland will be keen to put their World Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Argentina behind them, as they aim to claim the title for a third year in a row. Hooker Rory Best has massive boots to fill - he replaces the talismanic Paul O'Connell as captain.
Mark Pougatch presents live coverage from the Aviva stadium, with analysis from Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll, former Wales captain Gareth Thomas, and World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson, with pitch-side reports from Martin Bayfield and Maggie Alphonsi.
Commentary comes from Nick Mullins with Gordon D'Arcy and Shane Williams.
