Goode: I'll run through brick walls to play for England again
Alex Goode will accept 5am starts under new England head coach Eddie Jones if they can help him reclaim his Test place.
Japan captain Michael Leitch revealed that Jones would subject his players to gruelling early morning training sessions in the build-up to last autumn's World Cup, describing the then Brave Blossoms boss as capable of being an "angel or devil".
England's squad gather at their Surrey camp on Sunday in preparation for the RBS 6 Nations and will be subjected to their first practice session under Jones two days later.
"If that's what it takes to get in the team then I'll do it," said Goode, who is behind Mike Brown in the full-back pecking order.
"I've been on the periphery to an extent for the last three years and if it means we have to get up at 5am for drills and walkthroughs, then that's what it takes.
"For me there's desperation to play for England and I will run through brick walls if I have to."
