Kielan Woods sent to hospital with possible leg fracture following Huntingdon fall
Jockey Kielan Woods was taken to hospital with a suspected leg injury after suffering a fall at Huntingdon.
Woods was partnering the Shaun Lycett-trained Bare Necessities in the two-mile handicap hurdle when his mount blundered and came to grief at the second flight.
Huntingdon clerk of the course Jack Pryor said: "He has been transferred to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. He is conscious and fine within himself. He has a suspected injury to his left leg."
ITV commentator Richad Hoiles tweeted: "Kielan Woods taken to hospital after fall @Huntingdon_Race with what is believed to be a leg injury (possible break). Wish a speedy recovery"
