ITV adds Arc to its busy autumn schedule
ITV Racing will again show the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Sunday 2 October 1-3.30pm on the main channel.ITV’s coverage of the best international races in the world will continue with The Breeders’ Cup on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November as well as some of the key autumn Irish races.
This will enhance ITV’s busy schedule of flat racing in the autumn, spearheaded in the UK by Future Champions weekend at Newmarket on 7th and 8th October and British Champions Day at Ascot on 15th October.
The jumps season then gets into full swing and this year, ITV will add extra races and fixtures into its schedule, starting with the traditional jumps season ‘opener’ at Chepstow on Friday 7th October, and then the Aintree Old Roan Chase on Sunday October 23rd and the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter on Friday 4th November.
Ed Chamberlin says:“As always, we want to show the best of both international and domestic races across both codes on ITV, even if that means a 10-hour stint of continuous racing on the Saturday of Breeders’ Cup day! It’s a mouth-watering offering for racing fans in the next few months and we can’t wait.”
