Flawless Pic D'Orhy beats L'Homme Presse to Betfair Ascot Chase
Harry Cobden guided Pic D'Orhy to an impressive win in the Betfair Ascot Chase, comfortably beating 5-4 favourite L'Homme Presse.
The nine-year-old looked confident and composed to earn the victory by five and a half lengths in what was a race that had been billed as a test of L'Homme Presse's Cheltenham Festival credentials.
"To put good horses in their place like that was fantastic," said Nicholls. "It was a fantastic ride and that is why Harry is vying to be champion, he's riding like a champion jockey."
"Today was the best I've ever seen him look and probably the best he's ever run."
