BritBox November 2021 Highlights

London, October 13th: BritBox today announced content launching on the service throughout November 2021. 

Alongside BritBox’s popular Britmas collection, details of which will be announced shortly, subscribers are welcomed to enjoy a variety of exciting new content throughout November including a Remembrance Day collection, spearheaded by Peter Jackson’s acclaimed documentary They Shall Not Grow Old. 

Additional feature films such as Daniel Craig’s Some Voices, and series including both seasons of historical drama Rome will also be launched. In addition, Yorkshire-set crime drama Red Riding: The Year of our Lord starring Andrew Garfield will be available exclusively on the service from the beginning of the month.

Too Many Crooks (1959)

In this spoof on crime films, four would-be criminals manage to botch every job they plan. When they try to rob wealthy Billy Gordon they fail again. But the gang decides to kidnap his daughter. Starring Terry-Thomas, George Cole and Brenda da Banzie. 

Brief Encounter (1945)

Returning home from a shopping trip to a nearby town, bored suburban housewife Laura Jesson is thrown by happenstance into an acquaintance with virtuous doctor Alec Harvey. Their casual friendship soon develops, during their weekly visits, into something more emotional. Starring Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard.
