New stylish crime drama Professor T launches exclusively on BritBox UK on 3 June

London, 20 May 2021: BritBox UK today announced that crime drama Professor T starring Ben Miller and Frances de la Tour will be exclusively launching on the service on 3rd June.

The box-set of the six part drama, based on the hit Belgian series of the same name, will be made available exclusively to BritBox subscribers before airing on ITV later this summer.

Jasper Tempest played by Ben Miller, (Bridgerton, Sticks and Stones, Johnny English, Death in Paradise) is a Professor of Criminology at Cambridge University. He is obsessed with cleanliness, structure and order but his genius for solving crimes means he is constantly having to get his hands dirty, helping the police to crack their most difficult cases.

Tony award-winning actress Frances de la Tour (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The History Boys) plays Jasper’s colourful, but overbearing mother, Adelaide. Emma Naomi (Bridgerton, Blithe Spirit, The Trial of Christine Keeler) is Detective Inspector Lisa Donckers and rising star Barney White is her police sidekick Dan Winters.

The cast also features Juliet Aubrey (Van der Valk, Snatch), Andy Gathergood (The Salisbury Poisonings), Sarah Woodward (Quiz, The Pale Horse), Ben Onwukwe (Safe, Marcella) and Douglas Reith (Downton Abbey.)
