Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partnership, today announced a first-look deal with two time Emmy Award-winning actress Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna), her producing partner Rowan Riley, and their production company Alma Margo.
“Above all else, Alma Margo is looking for bold and original content, so we thought it only natural to partner with a studio that also fits that description. We are incredibly proud to be working with Tomorrow Studios who exhibit every quality that we're looking for in a partner: intelligence, drive, experience and passion,” shared Garner and Riley.
“As we continue to grow Tomorrow Studios, we’re thrilled to partner with Julia, Rowan and their team at Alma Margo to create compelling scripted series with a global reach. We share their enthusiasm for meaningful programming and love their focus on elevating emerging talent,” added Tomorrow Studios CEO/Founder Marty Adelstein and President/Partner Becky Clements.
Julia Garner has quickly established herself as one of the industry's most exciting and versatile actresses in both television and film. Garner earned two consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards (2019, 2020) in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category for her exceptional performance as Ruth Langmore in the Emmy-nominated drama Ozark (Netflix). Garner also received SAG Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series (2019, 2021) and the Critics' Choice Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (2019, 2021). Garner also stars as the titular character of the acclaimed scripted series Inventing Anna, based on the real-life story of “heiress” Anna Delvey. It was recently announced that Garner will also star in Paramount Players’ psychological thriller Apartment 7A, directed and co-written by Natalie Erika James. Garner previously delivered a powerful performance in the critically acclaimed feature film The Assistant.
