Toddler found wandering Newquay streets at 2am

A 40 year old woman has been arrested in Newquay on suspicion of child neglect after a three year old was found wandering the streets shortly after 2am.

The toddler was found by a member of the public in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were able to find out where the child lived but no one else was at the house.

The child has been taken into care by social services.
