Gary Johnson joins Torquay United as new manager

Torquay United have named Gary Johnson as their new manager.

He replaces Gary Owers, who was sacked yesterday after a disappointing start to the season.

Johnson left Cheltenham Town in August after more than three years in charge.

He led the Robins to promotion to the Football League in 2016.
