Britain's last surviving Dambuster honoured with MBE
Britain's last surviving Dambuster has received his MBE from the Queen during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, after a long campaign to have his service recognised.
George 'Johnny' Johnson, who is 95-years-old and from Bristol, was part of the squadron which carried out the famous raids on German dams in 1943.
Campaigners, including Carol Vorderman, had called for Mr Johnson to be honoured after a petition gained over 3,000 signatures.
